Story Script 1

In the 21st century, I am mostly defined by where i live, my interests, and my dreams. These elements formed the person that I am today. In the 21st century we have advancements such as the iPod and the Internet, both of which grew popular in the early 2000s. With these great advancements, the world is at my fingertips. I own a blog on tumblr, and I have followers from all over the globe, and also around the area of NYC.
As of now, I live in New York City. It's the biggest city in the whole country and it hosts cultures from all the corners of the world. Because it has so many influences, I'm exposed to many different cultures. In NYC, i can have sushi for lunch, pan fried rice and dumplings for dinner, and gelato for dessert. I love being exposed to all these cultures, but it doesn't compare if i actually get to travel to these countries. I've traveled all over the world so far, including 15 of the 50 states of the US, and countries like Japan, and the Philippines in Asia. Also, recently I went on my 1st trip to Europe and i Barcelona, Spain and Lourdes, France. These places in real life cannot compare to just pictures on my computer screen.
My love for travel and culture extends out to my interests. When I'm out on an adventure in my own neighborhood or on vacation, I love to take photographs of everything! To me everything is interesting, even things we see everyday. A simple water bottle could be a magnifying glass when compared to an ant in my room or a plant outside could be a jungle with the right angle. When I'm out on vacation, I love seeing colors and interesting architecture designs such as Park Guell in Barcelona. Antoni Gaudi's work in Park Guell was full of colorful mosaics in the seats in the terrace, and also the famous mosaic dragon in the park's entrance.
Another interest that extends from where I live, is the music i listen to. I listen to music from all over the world. I'm not a huge fan, but I like J-Rock, which is music from Japan.
As part of Generation Y, I'm glad I live in this advanced century, but I wish there could be a way to not destroy our home, the earth at the same time. I believe that the human race should care more about the important cause of Global Warming. To me, this doesnt seem as if it's just a "natural" process that the earth is going through, it's something worse. This is our only home.
