News about fast food.
http://www.upi.com/Health_News/2010/06/04/Report-Fast-food-linked-to-asthma/UPI-51741275703292/

People have been saying that fast food is causing a higher rate of athsma. They are saying that the healier food are linked with lower risks of athsma.
Researchers have collected data of more then 50,00 children in a 10 year period and they have analyzed them. With the data that they have collected, they have found that people who eat more burgers, have the highest risk of getting athsma for their whole life. Eating burgers, and other fast food is also a risk for obesity. People should eat healthier foods, and people would be more healthy, and there will be a less risk of getting athsma or being obese.

part 2 quality web searching.

Search engines are used in everyday life all over the world. Everyone gets all the information they need over the internet, using search engines. People probably do not even stop to think about how the search engines work? or how amazing search engines really are.
HOW DO SEARCH ENGINES WORK?......
It is actually really amazing how search engines work. When you type something into the search engine, there is something called a "spider" and it goes through the web, and it looks for the information that you need. Sometimes the results that the "spider" gives you, is not always the results that you really need. When this leads to information that you were not intentionally looking for, it could really be helpful because it could lead to other information that yo did not even know that you were looking for. There is more then just one search engine in the world, although many people use "google" as a main search engine. Information on each search engine is very alike, and not really different from each other. A list of search engines that may be helpful is "yahoo" " google" "ask" , and many more. This is why search engines are really amazing, and people should stop to think of how things work rather then just using things and not even questioning it.

digital story 3

It really sucks to be here in England. That volcano eruption in Iceland have left myself, a middle-aged business man working for that one company rising in the stocks, stuck in the airport an ocean away from my family. This airport has been my makeshift home for the last three days. I know my family and most important, my wife are worried sick. We were to have plans this week to go out for a family vacation of sorts. But this eruption has messed with these plans. I hope they're not too disappointed. But I think, it's more important if I get home first. I've got too many worries right now. I've haven't had a shower and I haven't had a decent meal. I mean, Subway is alright, but constantly is just terrible. This is definitely bad for my weight. And another issue is no one at the airlines know when the airport is going to be up and running. I mean, of course every airline is trying to get rid of all of us somehow, but how can we? I heard that if some people have flights to other European countries, you have the option of getting a train ride... but i heard those are filling up fast and their availability is getting scarce.
